Photography workshops in Kenya
Boutique dell’Immagine invites you to experience a "Photographic Safari with Style" in a welcoming and exclusive tent camp. The location is in southern Kenya, in a private Maasai reserve of 1200 square kilometres. It is dominated by Mt. Kilimanjaro, only 50 kilometres away.
The subject matter addressed at this workshop will include portraits, reportage, landscapes, and photographic hunts. The morning and late afternoon are devoted to working in the field, while the early afternoon and evening - after dinner - the workshop continues with theoretical and practical lessons about digital photography and how to improve the image taking and visualization techniques.
Imagine being awakened by the aroma of Kenyan tea and coffee, served in your cottage by a Maasai waiter. Imagine sipping them on your veranda, while admiring and photographing Mt. Kilimanjaro under the rosy light of sunrise, before leaving for your morning excursion, either on foot with the Maasai trackers or by a Land Rover.
After the photographic safari, you will go back to the camp for a large breakfast, including fresh local fruit, yogurt, cereals, biscuits, home-made cakes, and toast with butter and jam. Alternatively, breakfast can be served in the savannah, with smoked bacon and eggs cooked on the fire, and all the food previously mentioned.
Afterwards, you will leave for a photographic safari on foot, accompanied by a professional guide and your Maasai tracker. You can also simply relax at the camp. Lunch can be served as a packed lunch in the bush or at the camp club house. During the early afternoon you can review the pictures taken in the morning, while the late afternoon is devoted again to on-site photography. At night, after a lovely dinner in the club house, accompanied by superb Italian wine, you can admire all the photographs taken during the day, besides learning the post-processing techniques.
